    Advent Lutheran Church is a new faith community of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  We are located in downtown Lake Ann, Michigan just 13 miles West of Traverse City, MI.

  1. BulletThanksgiving Community Meal
    - Wednesday, Nov 26 at 6:00 PM
    The meal will feature Sloppy Joes and will be served at 6pm in the Christian Education Center on First Street in Lake Ann (LAUMC - CEC).  Fellowship including worship, singing, and communion will follow starting at 7:00 PM. Donations of cash or items for the local pantries (food, baby, winter clothing)  will be accepted, but not required.

    The second Saturday of every month from 9am-12pm, we will be operating a baby pantry here our church.  Please donate!

     Happy Thanksgiving Month!  Wow that was crazy to write as I can’t believe that we find ourselves already in the month of November.  Pretty soon we will be in the midst of Advent and I know the Sunday School kids are getting ready to begin working on a Christmas program.  Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with the pace at which our lives seem to move...
