Dan's Mom's Goulash

Ingredients: (1) 64 oz. can tomato juice

(2) 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes, do not drain

(2) 16 oz. jars salsa

2 lbs. ground beef or ground venison

(1) 16 oz. box elbow macaroni

8 oz. shredded colby jack cheese

16 oz. Velveeta cheese, broken into small chunks

1 tsp. granulated garlic powder

1 tsp. black pepper

2 tsp. Mrs. Dash



Steps:

1) Brown ground meat in frying pan with seasonings. Drain any fat/oil from the pan.

2) In a large soup pot, combine tomato juice, diced tomatoes, salsa, and macaroni. Boil the mixture until the pasta is al dente. Turn off the heat, but keep the pan on the warm burner.

3) Add the seasoned browned meat to the soup pot.

4) Stir in shredded cheese and Velveeta chunks until all of the cheese is melted.
